In 2025, the German Lung Foundation (Deutsche Lungenstiftung e. V.) will award the "German Dissertation Prize in Pulmonology" for the 28th time to promote young scientists. The prize is awarded for the best clinical and the best experimental dissertation in the entire field of pulmonology. The prize money of €3,000 each is sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co. KG.
