Professorships

Currently, five professorships are installed at the ILH to address the closely interconnected and interacting Research Areas. Amongst the group of ILH professorships, “Liebig” professorships comprise the recruitment of internationally renowned lung scientists, working in fields of interest for the ILH. Liebig professors are offered a 5 year part-time professorship at the JLU, equipped with lab facilities and a research group at the ILH.

A second Liebig Professorship is going to be recruited for 2022.
